Some art therapy artwork examples from different types of groups.

Every art piece is unique and reflects the artist's feelings and experiences.  We don't just make art but we have discussions before and after making art about how we feel and what we want to express.  Sharing is always encouraged, only the artist knows the true meaning behind each and every color, media choice, and subject.  The discussion is more important than WHAT THE ART LOOKS LIKE, the healing comes from WHAT THE ART IS ABOUT!.

Dementia Group: Jasper Johns study of art history.

Cancer Group:  Studying birch trees and the beauty of change.
